Join the team behind Viet Endangered Narratives (VEN) for a half-day experience combining conservation, photography, and creative storytelling. Explore the Son Trà Nature Reserve in search of rare wildlife like red-shanked douc langurs and tropical birds, learn how to use professional camera gear, and create your own mini wildlife story to share with the world.
Experience Itinerary
Part 1 - Meet & Briefing at VEN Space (30 minutes)

Welcome drink (herbal tea/juice) at VEN’s base in Da Nang.

Introduction to VEN's conservation mission and the power of visual storytelling.

Orientation to the experience and short training:

Intro to Son Trà Nature Reserve

Safety & wildlife etiquette

Invitation to join the “Volunteering Through Stories” series

Equipment intro & camera basics
Part 2 - Wildlife Exploration in Son Tra (3-4 hours)

Travel together to the reserve (transportation arranged by VEN or meet directly).

Guided hike/drive through Son Trà with stops at wildlife hotspots.

Search for and observe:

Red-shanked douc langurs
-
Tropical birds
-
Insects, butterflies, and forest flora

Guests use professional cameras (provided by VEN) to capture images/videos

Part 3 - Your Story, Your Voice (30-60 min)

Back at VEN space or via WhatsApp follow-up:

Add intro/outro to your best photo/video

Optional help with short caption or story text

We post your work on VEN’s social media (with your name/handle tagged)
