The VEN team ushered in the new year with a trip to Bach Ma National Park in Thua Thien Hue province. As spring arrived, the trees competed to sprout new buds and leaves. This is also the best time of year for many species of insects, mushrooms, invertebrates, and primitive plants like algae and fungi to reproduce and flourish. The birds and wildlife also have plenty of food, so they sing cheerfully to welcome the new beginning. This is also an ideal time for our artists to capture the most beautiful moments of nature and wildlife to use as materials for their next artistic creations.

Under French colonial rule, to protect the Edwards's pheasant (Lophura edwardsi), the local government submitted a proposal to the French Colonial Ministry for the establishment of a 50,000 ha national park. In 1942, a complex with nearly 139 villas, a market, post office, restaurant, and grocery was also built here to serve the sightseeing and vacation needs of French soldiers.
Through many historical ups and downs, coupled with the impacts of wars, natural disasters, climate change, etc., from 2000 until now there have been no records of Edwards's pheasants spotted in the wild. The natural area of Bach Ma National Park has also shrunk to just 37,423.10 ha, reduced by 63.90 ha compared to when the French planned it to conserve the Edwards's pheasant. However, the unique attractions of the natural scenery, flora and fauna here are still preserved and developing in positive directions.

Follow VEN to admire the most wonderful “artwork” that Bach Ma’s nature creates! For now, to share the enthusiastic spirit of working in the new year of dragon, VEN invites you to admire some images of our creative team passionately “working” on-site. We hope these photos will help you understand our work better, and at the same time spread positive and cheerful energy for your first work week of the year!
